These tools were created as part of our Erasmus+ Small Scale Partnership: "Art of the Mask, Tool from Our Past" project.
Our Mask Kit
The kit contains a series of masks and an educational guide that offer users the opportunity to explore:
- the historical and cultural significance of masks
- innovative techniques to use the masks and make your own.
Combining heritage and artistic exploration, this project invites you to connect to the universal language of masks.
The mask kit contains:
- 1 Kallikantzaros half mask (traditional)
- 1 Kukari mask with animal head, made of fabric (traditional)
- 1 Mamuthones, black Sardinian full mask, papier mâché (traditional)
- 2 complete character masks, made of fabric (traditional)
- 3 complete masks "baby", papier-mâché (contemporary)
- 3 half masks inspired by the commedia dell'arte (contemporary)
